Wish you could release that important held message yourself?
  Now you can

Some messages get held in a queue rather than delivered to your inbox as they may be suspected spam or trigger another rule we set to keep you and our organization safe. You can now manage held email yourself. Release messages, allow or block specific senders and more, all from a web portal on any device.

We will send you a daily notification with a summary of the e-mails that entered your hold queue. Then follow the steps below to quickly manage your messages.

  How to manage held messages

Access the Mimecast Personal Portal to manage your messages by following this link:

https://hawken.login-us.mimecast.com/u/login/?gta=portal

View of archive folders menu Use your email address and normal PC password to log in. Bookmark the page for quick access in the future.

Select the Advanced icon (three dots) from the left-hand menu and then select Personal On Hold to open your personal held messages queue.

You will then see a list of all of the messages held for your attention. Select a message from the list to see the content.

Use the ‘thumbs up’ release or ‘thumbs down’ reject buttons to take action against each message. You can also permit or block the sender to control what happens next time they send you a message.

Held messages not managed within 14 days will be removed from your held queue and added to your email archive.
