Rules/how the game is played
Each game starts with two teams. The Home team pitches while the away team hits first. There are nine innings in a standard game. Each inning consists of 1 rotation of each team having one chance to hit and one to pitch. The goal of the game is to score more runs. To score a run a player must run all the way around the diamond field. there are three bases and home base. Home base is also where they hit the ball. There are nine players trying to make sure they do not score. The pitcher tries to strike out the hitters. One rule is if the runner is hit by the ball he/she is able to get a free walk to first base. Also another rule is f the ball is hit out of the stadium or field then it is a home run. All players who are on the bases at that time go home. There are balls and strikes depending where the ball is thrown each pitch.
