There are a lot of simmilarities between European food and American food. A lot of the foods that were created by the Europeans were then adopted and adapted to make it Americanized. One of the best examples of this is the Italian pizza compared to American pizza. American Pizza contains more processed foods as toppings, while the original pizza from Italy contains fresher ingredients like fresh cheese and tomatoes. Another example is that Fried chicken might have come from the original recipe for Wiener Schnitrel. European food is the basis for most of the American foods that we normally associate with the United states than the original countries that it comes.
